Crystal & John - October 11, 2014

It was so much fun to go back and relive all the amazing moments from my last wedding of 2014 as I prepared this blog post.  Crystal and John's country wedding was full of personal artifacts and DIY touches provided by their amazing family and friends. My groom is a firefighter in the town, so he provided us with amazing props, as did Crystal's family, who lent out some of their farm equipment for photo ops. I mean, when will I ever get to use a firetruck and a massive tractor for bridals again?!

John's firehouse proved a great space for the reception, as Crystal and John celebrated with many friends on their big day. I can't begin to tell you how much fun their reception was. I think the dancing portion of the evening will be tough to beat by my 2015 weddings. Just scroll down and you'll see exactly what I mean!

Crystal pulled off a big surprise - the ring bearer was dressed up as a fireman!

The Bride and her family made most of the pies provided at the reception. My second shooter, Chance, said it was the best apple pie he'd ever had.

Can you see the fireman climbing the cake to rescue his bride?? I loved all the personal touches to the decorations!
