The Hunt Family - Stafford, Virginia Photographer

It is always a great compliment when I am hired by friends, especially one that I have know for as long as I have known the Hunt family. They've been family friends for over 20 years (if my math doesn't fail me). In that time they've moved all over the world and finally returned back to the D.C. area.

I was so excited when Angie contacted me about doing a session. Her oldest, Ashley, would be in town over the holiday break with her husband John and Jason, the next oldest, will soon leave for Spain to serve a 2-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's not often you can get everyone together for a session so we made quick work of it on what turned out to be one of the warmest days we have had this month!

We headed out to Government Island in Stafford, VA. Government Island is an historic 18th and 19th century quarry site that provided Aquia sandstone for the construction of the White House and the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. It was the perfect backdrop for my last session of 2010!
